My name is Kelly, and I'm a Libertarian, so I feel I fit in the Tea Party.
Wanted to let y'all know that I may have a candidate for Irving City Council, Place 6, that might be willing to sign a contract with The People.
I was wondering if there's a lawyer in the Irving Tea Party to assist us in completing a signed contract with The People.
Brad M. LaMorgese is running for city council, and I've been messaging back and forth with him. As it turns out, he is a lawyer.
I mentioned that We The People are tired of candidates breaking promises. He agreed, and wrote that is part of why he's running.
I let him know that I'm just looking for him to sign his name to a couple/few issues. (I can understand that a candidate wouldn't want to sign their name to a ton of issues, and risk losing a lot of voters.)
He's having an event at Java Me Up on MacArthur at 6:00 p.m. on April 21st.
He's for lower property taxes.
